Our Department continues its educational activities at the North Campus of our University, located on the E-5 (D-100) Highway, between Ünalan and Göztepe metro stations.
Education began for the first time in the 2013–2014 academic year. Our academic and administrative staff include three faculty members, one lecturer, and two research assistants appointed under the ÖYP program. In addition, we have residency students who are undergoing specialization training within the scope of the Regulation on Specialization in Medicine and Dentistry.
In our undergraduate education program, Movement System Anatomy is taught in four modules during the 1st year, and in the 2nd year, Circulatory, Respiratory, Digestive, Nervous and Sensory, Endocrine, Excretory, and Reproductive System Anatomy are taught across five modules.
For assessment and evaluation, the integrated module exams consist of a multiple-choice theoretical part, while the practical part is structured as a "classical pin test" conducted by our Department.
In terms of educational facilities, we share general classrooms and also have our own dedicated practical laboratory.
As for educational materials, we possess a comprehensive collection of anatomical models, along with one plastinated cadaver and one plastinated extremity.
The goal of our department is to teach human anatomy, which forms the foundation of medical education, by sharing our accumulated knowledge. Our hope is to train a skilled and collaborative generation.
